It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our Trustee Emeritus, John M. Alati. John will be remembered for his cooperative spirit and can-do attitude in the Italian American community. A prominent member of UNICO, where he was Foundation President and a Past National President, as well as past President of the Conference of Presidents of Major Italian American Organizations. John was always willing to lend his voice for Italian causes like AP Italian in the schools and the maintaining of Columbus Heritage celebrations and statues. He will be missed and mourned by many especially his family, friends and colleagues in the Italian American community.
May he Rest in Peace.
