LAND TREE PROJECT
Opening June 17th, 2021 – 6.00 p.m.
On the World Day against Desertification and Drought, the new installation made entirely of earthenware is opening. It recreates an arid landscape in which the white space, the large circle also in ceramic, becomes a symbol of a place, highlights a void, the lack of a tree.
Each visitor is called to reflect and question the reasons for the great environmental alterations and the work was created, as well as to be admired, to stimulate the action of taking a piece of clay, becoming himself an active part of the installation. Piece by piece, the work retracts towards the center and with the contribution of 10 euros, you will have the opportunity to collect an object that will allow the purchase and subsequent planting of trees for a new park.
The installation Land Tree Project is 6 square meters and it consists of 282 ceramic elements numbered and signed on the back. Each fragment was created using pure unfiltered clay called Galestro, very resistant to climate change, and will be delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity in a special packaging created for the occasion.
