ITF appoints Tennium as delivery partner

for 2023 Davis Cup Finals events in Spain

The ITF has announced that it has appointed leading tennis agency Tennium as its event delivery partner for the 2023 Davis Cup Finals. Tennium will support the ITF’s Davis Cup Finals team with all aspects of event operations and delivery for the 2023 edition’s events in Spain.

 

Tennium is an international sports agency based in Barcelona with a strong track record of delivering elite level tennis events at ATP500 and 250 tournaments including the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, the Argentina Open, The European Open and the Hamburg European Open (from 2024) as well as WTA events including the Valencia Open.

 

Tennium were appointed following a competitive tendering process and will begin supporting the ITF immediately, with particular focus on delivery of the Group Stage in Valencia (12-17 September) and the Final 8 knockout stage in Malaga (21-26 November). The ITF is also working with Tennium on the delivery of the Hopman Cup in Nice (19-23 July).

 

David Haggerty, ITF President said: “We are delighted to welcome Tennium on board to support us in the delivery of this year’s Davis Cup Finals and they share our ambitious vision for the competition. It was important for the ITF that we had in place an experienced and professional team on the ground and Tennium, with their impressive record in delivering world class tennis events in Spain and across the world, are the perfect partner for us and the cities of Malaga and Valencia.”

Our aim is to support ITF at every level for this historical and competitive event which is the World Cup of Tennis.”

 

The draw for the 2023 Davis Cup Finals Group Stage was made on Wednesday 29 March in Malaga.
