A major demonstration of tens of thousands of Iranians is planned today in Paris Place Vauban at 14:00, organised by Iran’s main opposition group the National Council of Resistance of Iran. The rally is in support of Iran protests that erupted in Iran following the death last September of Masha Amini, arrested for not respecting the very strict dress code imposed on women in Iran.

On Friday a court in Paris gave a green light for the rally which was previously banned by the French government but according to AFP and Reuters was to appease Tehran rulers.
