Teams announced for 2023 Davis Cup World Group I
and World Group II ties
The 48 nations competing in the 2023 Davis Cup World Group I and World Group II ties have announced their teams, with Denmark’s Holger Rune, Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas and Germany’s Alexander Zverev among those set to represent their nations this month.
Other stars in Davis Cup action next week include Alexander Bublik (Kazakhstan), Francisco Cerundolo (Argentina), David Goffin (Belgium), Hubert Hurkacz (Poland) and Dominic Thiem (Austria).
The 24 nations in World Group I are competing to advance to the Davis Cup Qualifiers next February, meaning that the 12 winning teams in this month’s ties will begin 2024 with a chance of lifting the famous trophy at the end of the season.
