IT La prima mostra personale in un’istituzione italiana dell’artista, scrittrice e pensatrice Andrea Fraser, tra le più radicali interpreti dell’Institutional Critique. Le opere in mostra si concentrano sulla figura del collezionista e l’attività del collezionare, intesa come espressione di gusto, desiderio, categorizzazione, esclusività, esercizio e forma di potere.
EN The first solo exhibition in an Italian institution of artist, writer and thinker Andrea Fraser, one of the most radical interpreters of Institutional Critique. The exhibited works focus on the figure of the collector and the activity of collecting, understood as an expression of taste, desire, categorization, exclusivity, exercise and form of power.

IT La nuova mostra della Collezione Antonio Dalle Nogare nasce sotto l’incantesimo di Marcel Duchamp, considerato il preconizzatore dell’arte concettuale per il suo impegno nel liberare l’artista dal giogo della produzione di opere e il suo desiderio di desacralizzare il gesto artistico. Il fulcro della mostra è La Boîte en Valise intorno a cui ruotano altre recenti acquisizioni della Collezione.
EN The Antonio Dalle Nogare Collection’s new exhibition is conceived under the spell of Marcel Duchamp . Regarded as the forerunner of conceptual art for his commitment to freeing the artist from the yoke of producing works, his desire was to desacralize the artistic gesture. The key work on show is La Boîte en Valise, around which other recent acquisitions from the Collection revolve.
