The Challenge Sanremo weekend starts with the Youth Races and the Memorial Alessio Bianchi
The strong wind and the rough sea did not stop the enthusiasm of the athletes of the Challenge Sanremo Swimrun – Memorial Alessio Bianchi.
Great determination and a great desire to have fun for 60 athletes at the start who competed on the city and coastal route of the Medium and Short trials that lapped the beaches of Sanremo and the panoramic point of the Santuario Madonna della Costa that overlooks the city and dominates this part of the Riviera dei Fiori. Great participation and emotion for the arrival of Monica Fierile, ahlete of the home team of the Riviera Triathlon 1992 and life companion of Alessio Bianchi, who crossed the finish line first in the Short trial.
RESULTS SWIMRUN
The morning was animated by 40 young triathletes. Smiles, fun and lots of cheering for all the participants who swam, cycled and ran between the Oasis bathing establishments, Piazzale Carlo Dapporto and the Ponente Ligure cycle and pedestrian path in the race distances allowed in each age category. The youth races ended with a big party on the podium for all the participants cheered by the public and families.
